My New Blogging Buddy, Shelia @ Pedaling Fast Is Having A Giveaway

 

Miss Shelia @ Pedaling Fast and Trying To Keep Up is having a great giveaway for this weekend!!!

She has a terrific blog and is my newest blogging buddy, we “almost” met in DC…well at least we tried.

We did get to visit by phone later that day. The 8-28 Restoring Honor was so busy that our cell phones quit working and the guides at the event cautioned her not to leave her spot for fear of not being able to get back to it.

Since I have positively no sense of direction my hubby went with me everywhere that day…and we met so many terrific people!!! I was just sorry that Shelia and I could not connect personally.

…Just a walking down the street…doo wah ditty, ditty ditty dum diddy dee…

After looking at my recent photos from Fredericksburg, Va. I’ve decided that I’m probably not the very best company on a sightseeing walk!!! Here are a few of the some two hundred photos that I snapped. We could have seen a lot more if I hadn't stopped every thirty seconds…but then I wouldn’t have been able to post these….hhhhmmmm decisions, decisions….


 Nice horse who was pulling a sightseeing buggy…I guess I wasn’t interested in the buggy since I don’t have a photo of it…



I talked to this little sweetie’s Mom…he was for sale…I wanted him…and I don’t even like Doxies…look  at those eyes!!!

I sure hope he found a wonderful home…his name was Tommy!!!

 Some seasonal goodies were showing up in the windows…love the witches’ legs' table…

This is the mega famous Carls’ Ice Cream shop…it was a tiny place!!! The ice cream was sooooo good…I had strawberry!!!

Such a pretty little beaded purse!!! I don’t know why I didn’t run right in and snatch it up!!!

This one was equally pretty…just not as colorful!!!

Hi, I’m Zoe and I’m three years old!!! I am a Morkie and I have a buddy named Buddy

…Buddy is seven years old and he is a Lab mixed with

Border Collie (we think)…

Sometimes we let DaddyBoy go with us…if he has been good!!!

when he was a baby kitty…that was before I came here…a long time before …DaddyBoy took

care of him and made him all better!!!

Finally I have something for a post Tootsie…woo hoo…

it doesn’t belong to me but I got the photos!!! Photos count don’t they!!!

This gorgeous hydrangea bloom belongs to my husband’s sister-in-law who lives in Virginia…

she always has the most gorgeous deep blue blooms on her hydrangeas!!!

This little perfect bed also belongs to the relatives in Virginia.

Since I don’t have their permission to post the photos of the owners I’ll just have to let you enjoy these two spots in their yard.

I always try to take identifying photos of places I’ve been to…

I just forget the details…I think this was the home of Martha Washington’s sister…

 

I’m still drooling over the old brick walls…look at that moss…

 

 

A couple of summers ago I tried to lay a similar walk with some old bricks…

didn’t work out for me…but it was a good idea!!! It was a lot

more difficult than I thought it would be so I really admire this walk!!!
