Loving Some Thrifty Finds…

I finally found a silver tea service that I could afford…I’ve had the tray for a long time so I just needed the service…ready…tea pot 2.99…creamer…2.99…sugar with lid 2.99…It took a long time but I persevered…

image  The tray was 12.99 a couple of years ago…

  2. I believe you got a good deal and the pieces are beautiful, but I'd truly like to know where you got the slipcovers for that sofa, sugar. I want some for my sofa in white. Can you tell me, hon?

  15. Ooh...I LOVE it!! I saw a tray like that at a garage sale today. I absolutely wanted it, but couldn't afford the $30 that they were asking for it. I hope that one day I find one for $12.99 like yours!

  16. Oh how wonderful to have the complete set of silver and the tray!!! I purchased my silver tray at an estate sale last year. That sucker weighs in at almost 13 lbs. I am still on the look-out for the service. One of these days I'll find my treasure! Thanks for sharing your lovelies.

  22. I Do Love Thrift Stores! They are the best! I love going to a small town and finding a great one, or going to one in a little nook in the city and finding something nice. They have lots of really good ones in New Hope, Pa that I've been to. Beautiful tea set!
