Succulents…something I am a killer of…I water them to death…I attended a garden class about succulents…at least I got some neat photos!!! I can’t even grow hen and chicks!!!
If I wasn’t a succulent killer I’d try this!!!
Succulent killers shouldn’t even see things like this…
A wreath made of succulents…(drools on keyboard…)
So easy…(step away from the succulents Becky…far far away)…but so cute!!!
Tootsie has her own cute lil’ red barbeque grill…looks like I could have this one!!!…I like baking cakes!!!…but succulents don’t like me!!! (Turns head away in agony!!!)
Look, if I wasn’t a succulent killer I could reupholster a chair in succulents and post one of those yummy tutorials!!!
This could be my very own…laundry room remodel!!! (giggles because my ironing board could actually be that old if I knew where it was)…
A succulent roof…hhhhmmm…just maybe, the dog house???? Zoe!!!!! (furry little dog running to hide)…
Tootsie can grow anything so go see her beautiful partygoers!!!
Cindy has some great things today!!!
Funky Junk Interiors is MY KIND OF PLACE!!!
Poor poor Becky! A murderer of succulents? You're too funny! But you sure make pretty pictures! The succulent laundry room is so funny.

What great photos! I have the opposite luck, I have 1/2 of my patio that gets lots of heat, so my succulents love me! They double and triple in size and outgrow their containers until I've no recourse but to get rid of them and start from babies again.
ReplyDeleteBut such fun ideas here can make a believer of me again. I'm thinking a birdhouse with the roof finished with some coconut grass and small rosettes? It could work, esp. on a pole in one of my other planters. Hehe, thanks for the inspiration.
I never could grow sempervivums until I got them up off the ground in rock gardens... the soil still heavy, but the winter drainage is good and they're surviving well now. Some pretty amazing ideas in those photos! Larry
ReplyDeleteWow, those are awesome! I didn't know they could look so good. You're too funny. I laughed at your lost ironing board. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love each and every arrangement here. Becky, just leave the succulents alone girl...
ReplyDeleteOh, such fun ways to grow and display succulents! Love that wreath. I thought succulents were supposed to be easy to grow? Are you overwatering them? Planting them in a drafty spot? OR maybe they are picking up on your fear for them. LOL

Ahh Becky! I love succulents too and am thinking of trying some (lots!!) this year. I hope I don't have your disease.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm successful, should I tell you? Or will you come and hunt us down?
Great post, you're a funny lady!:) The pictures have really cute ideas!! Thanks for sharing. Have a great holiday weekend!
ReplyDeleteIs that my ironing board? lol...I think that was the last time I used it.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while...busy with kids, but wanted to send puppy kisses your way!
Oh Becky.... I love succulents---all of them. Guess they do so well for me because I don't water them much!!!!!! ha
ReplyDeleteYou have some great pictures...LOVE them.
Hugs,
Betsy
Those are great pictures! I love succulents too, but never had good luck with them....
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great laugh this afternoon. I truly need that! The pictures are great and what some great ideas! And the pictures of that puppy dog stole my heart!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! So many cute ideas. I love the bricks and the muffin tins.
ReplyDeleteOh heavens! I don't believe it! No one can kill a succulent...(can they?) Wow...those were some interesting ways of using them...I have some that I forget to water...and they look great. lol Maybe that's the answer? Probably not!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable post!! I loved it!
Mona
If it makes you feel any better, I, too, kill succulents...regularly. Chicks and Hens? My neighbors are all over the place. Mine...sparse at best. Sigh...you're not alone.
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures. I especially like the laundry room and kitchen.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! This is one crazy awesome post. The imagination that went into all this?!? So fun! That stove got me! Love all the 'baking' inside. :) I had to show it off on the 'ol sidebar.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking it up to SNS!

Love it! Those are awesome. I can grow them, but sometimes,I forget about them and they shrivel up and die but for the most part, they are so forgiving. I pluck them with a little bit of stem and re-insert them into the soil. Wah-la!
ReplyDeleteI love the old washing machine...reminds me of times spent on the back porch of grandma's. Thanks for great photos!
