Sorry, I just have to rat on myself today. (holding head low with downcast eyes) I’ve had this secret affair going on since last fall. This spring I realized it had blossomed into an absolute love…
Love for this little red birdhouse…I keep photographing it, it’s sick, I admit…but wait till you see it!!! You may be having a little affair also!!!
I even used a photo of the bird house as my header photo last Christmas!!! It must be true Love!!!
Oh no, I’m beginning to see a pattern here…(turns head away) it’s an addiction…Is there a 12 step program for …birdhouse addiction??? I’m Becky and I have an addiction to birdhouse photography…
But it’s a fun addiction…
For more addicted ladies go to Tootsies…we need your help!!!
Cindy has lots of “pretties” for you to see …
Mary at Little Red House has some pretty mosaics for Monday…
I think I lost the first comment, so I'll repeat it, just in case. I normally could not condone such behavior, but upon seeing the object of your desires, I certainly understand, in fact, encourage you to continue to your heart's desire. I, too, would love to have a little red birdhouse!
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute Becky! As far as addictions go, I think it is a pretty good one and say you go for it! Hmmmm... does that make me an enabler?
ReplyDeleteLove your birdhouses!

I think birdhouses are something my wife and I could really get into... she has actually purchased a couple in the past year. With my wood shop, I have no excuse for not building many... other than the time factor , that is.... Larry
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful bird house and my favorite color. I have a bell in my backyard I am always taking pictures of, so I guess you could call that and obsession too. Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteLove all your birdhouses - makes me want to go and find some to add to my tree's and garden!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing, Paula in Idaho
there's just something about a bird's house, a place where feathers are nested that makes people love them. AND, generally there are babies inside at some point so perhaps that is why we love them.

another birdhouse person!! Love the birdhouses. I too have an assortment that I just couldn't resist. I'll have to show them next week. We sometimes have a problem with the bees and wasps trying to take them over.

I for one am happy to see the results of your addiction. Please don't seek out a 12-step program.
ReplyDeleteI love your birdhouses..... my favorite is the white one with the cute little boy in the tree....
ReplyDeleteBirdhouse addiction, huh? WELL--I'll call the mental hospital and get you committed.... ha ha
ReplyDeleteI am addicted to my backyard birds for sure.... Shall we get adjoining rooms?????

I love birds and I love sweet little birdhouses...so it's very easy to see how one can become addicted.
ReplyDeleteI really love the red house too; it looks like a little farmhouse barn, all vintage-y and rustic. And such a striking color that stands out wonderfully in photos.
My goodness what wonderfully charming mosaics you have shared!!!! Thank you!! Cathy
ReplyDeleteWell, as someone who obviously loves little red houses, I see no problem whatsoever with your "addiction!" lol Your images are wonderful, Becky -- thanks for sharing at MM. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your birdhouses and think I may be becoming addicted to them also. I only have two, but want more!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I love your addiction! I love bird houses too! I love your blog!
