We have a couple of pretty birch trees.
The bark is extraordinary, so
I snapped some photos to show you.

I know...this post is so exciting, the cyber police may shut it down!!!
Zoe thinks she lives in a rain forest...
I think she may be right
We have had record rainfall for June
Every single day I think
The weeds love it
That's some beautiful bark...and a beautiful tree!
ReplyDeleteI don't want to hear of your rain......we're drying up here in Texas.
They are such beautiful trees. I love them...and birches and aspens.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Never saw a birch tree from this perspective. Thanks for sharing. In MA right now also raining!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I love the bark on birch trees! My parents have several of them on their property in Maine. When I am up there in November and December I collect some of the fallen bark and use it for decorating.

ReplyDeleteHi Becky! Now you tell the truth, did you climb up in that tree? :) Lovely bark and look at your sweet little fuzzy face!

Hi There, So glad to get home and back to blogging. We did have a fabulous trip--but home is pretty nice also!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe SO enjoyed our visit with you... Meeting 3 blog friends just made our trip even more special....
Glad you got rain... Looks like we got quite a bit at home also --since the weeds have grown like crazy.
Hugs,
Betsy
I love trees...so these bark photos are right up my alley! Happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteThe weeds at our house loved the rain as well. The rain gauge was full, so we got over six inches of rain while we were gone. The weeds are very healthy!
ReplyDeleteWe had a birch tree on the side of our house when I lived in Ohio. It was a beautiful tree. I really like your close ups of the bark of your tree.
