Last year was my first summer with a real camera, my Canon Rebel and I didn’t think I would ever get better photos of flowers…until this year…I got a few snaps recently…they were not my flowers since the weather and the bugs have pretty well wreaked havoc with things around my house this year but I have enjoyed these snaps…
I love Calla Lilies so the Japanese Beetles decided to make them their first meal at my house this year!!!
Just wait till next year…I’ll get ‘em…and it won’t be pretty for the bugs!!!
Tootsie is partaying again today...and this time it's a really good one...byob (bring your own blog) :-)
These photos are wonderful. I hope I can get a nice camera like that when I grow up.
ReplyDeleteYour photo's are beautiful! The clarity is amazing. Great job :)

I looooove your photos, sweets! Isn't the Canon Rebel the most incredible camera? I simply looooove mine also. All the pix on my blog are taken with it and they are fantastic. Yours are also.

I would like to see more of your pond. It looks like a real pretty spot.
ReplyDeleteI have a 35 mm Canon EOS Rebel, with different lenses, that I rarely used before digial came out. Subsequently, I got my Canon digital - Power Shot S3IS which has been great.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are just beautiful. It's amazing at the quality and clarity...especially fun doing macros.
Beautiful photos! I'll have to get busy and learn some of these techniques.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely... especially the Calla Lily. A neighbor gave us one last year that we planted out front... the deer ate it down to nubbins last year so I'm hoping for a better experience this year.

Oh my, your flowers are so beautiful!!! You apparently have a very green thumb....
ReplyDeleteI love your flower shots! I always envy someone who has a "real" camera. I'm waiting for that day, but right now I have to make do with my digital. (I wouldn't know how to use the real one anyway.) Beautiful. I hope you won't have problems with your garden next year!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Becky! Good capture, very vibrant. I can almost touch the soft petals! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your photos. It truly does make a difference what type of camera you have!
ReplyDeleteLook forward to your next visit!
Hope you join me on Tuesday!
God Bless,
Kathy

Becky, your photos are so beautiful!!! We gave our daughter a Nikon 5000? for graduation this year and I have enjoyed using it, but I really need to learn how to take some good photos with it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comment on my Home Tour.
Regarding the Japanese beetles. I buy a systemic liquid in a blue container from Lowe's. I think it's made by Bayer. I pour it below the shrubs and trees that the Japanese beetles like and they take a few bites and DIE :) It is a little pricey, but it lasts for a whole 12 months and you just repeat it every spring.
Your Photos are Gorgeous!:)The Flowers are too shabby either :)
ReplyDeleteHave a Wonderful 4th ~
All of your flowers are making me wish I had a green thumb! Love, love that little Morkie!! xo
ReplyDeleteGosh sakes I adore your header banner.

These photos are absolutely wonderful. I'm really enjoying my Rebel as well. If it makes you feel any better the Japanese Beetles are feasting on our roses.
