Portrait Fun...

I was so lucky to get to photograph this lovely family last fall. Daughter, son and father posed for me but Mom preferred to stay in the background. I would have loved to photograph all of them because they were a very photogenic family.

I’ve been experimenting with editing these photographs. I made this one black and white and then gave it a film grain. The next step was adjusting the soft focus choice. I think it sort of looks old-fashioned now. The second photo of this young lady was just cropped and given a sepia color treatment…

The following photo was treated to a sepia colortone and given a soft focus also.

  1. They are an extremely beautiful and happy-looking all-American family. So nice to see those genuine smiles. I also think I see some family resemblances. Well done!

  2. Great looking family and stunned that the mom did not want to be in the photograph with her own family. hmmm.

You did such a nice job on the photos, Becky.
