  3. Becky, that is one beautiful tree, and if I weren't well on my way to becoming an antique, I might try it myself! I can remember some escapades that would have terrified my own mother had she known how high I climbed because at times it would terrify me as to how I would ever get down.

    Loved this.

    Happy OW...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  5. Cute post, Becky---and some great pictures. Yes, I raised three boys---so I know about little boys climbing trees. It's great that Grandpa came to the rescue.

  8. Becky I used to climb trees when I was young too ...many many moons ago..lol It's fun to sit up high. Your grand children are so sweet. Glad Granpa was there to lend a helping hand and that grandma was there to capture it all on film.

  20. Love your picture of the Callicarpa in your banner. Mine died out.
Kids don't climb trees nearly enough these days. I don't think anyone plants the right type. They need those good old deciduous ones with the horizontal branches.
Lucky Granddad was there. The little miss will be right behind those boys in a year or two.

  21. Becky,
What adorable pictures! As a mother to two daughters, I never experienced the curiosity of boys...maybe someday I'll have grandsons like you and will! Anita

  22. Hi Becky,
What a great tree for climbing! As the oldest of three girls I think I was the only one who climbed all the way to the top of the tree and then was terrified to come down and my sisters had to run to get my Dad to "talk" me down! Love it! Beautiful colors, too! Thanks for stopping by...

  25. Oh man my sister and I climbed trees all the time. The trees, into the barn up in the loft. No TV back then. Your photos are great and you have some very expressive ones. My daughters won't let me publish any pictures of their kids. I have to do what they wish. I do pictures though, but just don't publish them. I am the memory keeper.
