What fun to have a beautiful tree like this to climb. Thank goodness for help getting down :0)
ReplyDeleteFun post, Becky! Absolutely love the photos!
ReplyDeleteBecky, that is one beautiful tree, and if I weren't well on my way to becoming an antique, I might try it myself! I can remember some escapades that would have terrified my own mother had she known how high I climbed because at times it would terrify me as to how I would ever get down.
ReplyDeleteLoved this.
Happy OW...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Boys will be boys! You can't blame them for wanting to climb such a gorgeous tree!!
ReplyDeleteCute post, Becky---and some great pictures. Yes, I raised three boys---so I know about little boys climbing trees. It's great that Grandpa came to the rescue.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
So many memories!!! Raising 3 boys, I know that "mom look" and prayer really well! These are great photos of beautiful children.
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Jane (artfully graced)
ps thanks for stopping by my blog!
Yes - easier going up than coming down. m:-)
ReplyDeleteBecky I used to climb trees when I was young too ...many many moons ago..lol It's fun to sit up high. Your grand children are so sweet. Glad Granpa was there to lend a helping hand and that grandma was there to capture it all on film.
ReplyDeleteI think I would have to attempt to climb that tree too! It looks like a great climbing tree! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh Becky, those cute faces and expressions! You captured the essence of their feelings.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! It was easier climbing up than going down
Fun, fun day....and such a GORGEOUS day I bet.
ReplyDeleteLove all the family photos. Great job.
My post for Wednesday is now published. Click Here to join me. I'd love for you to stop by today.
My son used to climb a tree in our front yard and sit there, observing his domain. Great photo story, Becky!
ReplyDeleteBecky,
ReplyDeleteYou have some awesome pics, love the boys climbing away! Cindy
What an absolutely terrific series of pictures. This was like watching the story unravel. Thank God for Grandpa :-). Have a wonderful Outdoor Wednesday.
ReplyDeletewhat fun boys but watch out I bet she will follow right behind
ReplyDeleteToo cute! You got some great shots and the colours are beautiful! Have a great Outdoor Wednesday : )
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post for the boys. That is so typical of some of the things boys enjoy. You did a great job on taking the pictures and the trees are lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, what fun pictures of boys having fun in that gorgeous tree..the colors are great!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these wonderful pictures..
Hugs, Baba
What a fun post. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteLove your picture of the Callicarpa in your banner. Mine died out.
ReplyDeleteKids don't climb trees nearly enough these days. I don't think anyone plants the right type. They need those good old deciduous ones with the horizontal branches.
Lucky Granddad was there. The little miss will be right behind those boys in a year or two.
Becky,
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable pictures! As a mother to two daughters, I never experienced the curiosity of boys...maybe someday I'll have grandsons like you and will! Anita
Hi Becky,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tree for climbing! As the oldest of three girls I think I was the only one who climbed all the way to the top of the tree and then was terrified to come down and my sisters had to run to get my Dad to "talk" me down! Love it! Beautiful colors, too! Thanks for stopping by...

What a wonderful photo story. I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh...THAT was perfect! Being the mother of three boys...and then a girl. I know of what I speak!
ReplyDeleteGreat pix!
Oh man my sister and I climbed trees all the time. The trees, into the barn up in the loft. No TV back then. Your photos are great and you have some very expressive ones. My daughters won't let me publish any pictures of their kids. I have to do what they wish. I do pictures though, but just don't publish them. I am the memory keeper.
