Tonight some ladies attended a tea party in Northwest Tennessee…Jackson to be exact…There were many attendees who donned their most appropriate attire…but it was the ladies who got my attention…all ages, dressed to the “nines”…thought you might like to take a peek…

HI Becky, We would have been at the Tea Party here if we weren't leaving early the next morning for Texas. We are VERY upset at the way our Govt. is spending our money!!! GADS!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy
God bless America! I am thankful that we live in a country where all voices can be heard.
ReplyDeletePlease stop by my blog. I am hosting a 200th post giveaway.
Wow - I knew this was out there but had never seen it up close - definitely a scary thing. A gun and a bible? Jesus wouldn't have carried a gun. I guess this is redneck America.
ReplyDeleteThanks Becky. We live in Mo. and we are so glad we traveled 100 miles to attend the West Tn. Tea Party. It was such an eye opener and we had a blast. Paula Pearson from Risco, Mo.
ReplyDeleteTo the poster who made the comment about guns & Bibles -- well sir - I guess you are calling our Founding Fathers rednecks -- for they too proudly clung to their Bibles & guns.
ReplyDeleteWonderful event - nice blog!
to the person who commented on the sign about guns and Bible.... you just DON'T GET IT!!!! IT'S CALLED FREEDOM!!
ReplyDeleteJesus wouldn't have carried a gun? No instead he used fire and brimstone to destroy a city, he used a flood to destroy the earth except for Noah and his family and he parted the red sea and let the wave crash down on the egyptian army he also sat down and made a whip to drive the peaple out of his Fathers house also guns in the hands of law abiding citizens are use for 2 things hunting unless your a wild animal you have nothing to fear or self defense and defense of family and property so unless you break into my house or attack my family you have nothing to fear!
ReplyDeleteas you can see Jesus was not a passivist so either your scared of organized religion in general or just scared of guns either way both were protected in our founding documents
