My First “2nd Time Around Tuesday” & "Three Or More"

[Jackson+005.jpg]

I love thrift shopping...

I don’t have many options for shopping where I live…short of traveling 60+ miles…which I do fairly often…

We have a great “Goodwill” store and I find some things there, I got all some of these things there…

IMG_2110 This silver tray and cutwork tablecloth came from the Goodwill Store but not the glassware…

Another silver tray from Goodwill

Another silver piece, I’m seeing a theme here…

PS…none of these pieces looked like they do now when I purchased them … lots of silver polish, elbow grease and time was involved…

Thrifted Silver…to be continued next week…same time, same place…

  1. Welcome to both events, Becky! SO glad that you joined us. I have been MIA the last two weeks due to overload of activites offline, but I always enjoy playing, too. And look at your pretty hobnail glass and silver! I would say those are some wonderful finds. Great job! Can't wait to see more thrifted silver. Don't you just love to get a great deal like that???

Happy 2nd Time and 3 or More Tuesday!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  3. These silver trays are gorgeous! I'm sure it took some time to bring them back to their former glory, but it was so worth it...your beautiful blue glassware looks perfect on there too... ;-) Bo

  7. Becky, I so love shopping at Goodwill. I am sad to say when we moved to our small town in the Caroling mountains, no Goodwill here. We do love living here though.

Your purchases are beautiful and I can very well imagine your hard work to bring those silver pieces back to life. I know they were a bargain too. Lucky you.

    Hugs...Jeanne

  14. Becky,
Thank you so much for participating in Three Or More Tuesday. I'm running late today visiting everyone but I did not want to miss what you were sharing. I love your silver pieces and I can't believe you found them at goodwill.
    Have a wonderful evening,
