I consider my family my Valentines, so we’ll celebrate tonight…

A Birthday

Today, February 7, would have been my Mom’s eighty-seventh birthday… I’ve written about her before. .. here is a little birthday walk down memory lane…

Some people, like my Mom, were just happy…

Madeline loved her family, nieces and nephews, her country and the color red…I never see anything red that I don’t remember her…she loved her God and His amazing graces…and prayed daily that He might envelope her loved ones in His arms…Is there anything more magnificent than a Mother’s love???

Red flowers were her favorites…

Madeline loved her country like no other person I have ever met…she sacrificed a lot for that country…she would have cried with the lady in the middle photo as she knew what that heartbreak was, she would often gasp with excitement when she saw our beloved flag on display…she would have loved the little girl on the right as she knew what her Mother was experiencing…she would have been in awe of the patriots in the upper left photo who portrayed what our founding fathers experienced …  I miss her so much …

St. Louis Chaifetz Arena Packed

Michelle Bachman introduced Glenn Beck last night. She is an extraordinary speaker and her enthusiasm brought the arena crowd to their feet. Her enthusiasm for America’s unalienable rights and our pursuit for happiness undeniably struck a common chord in the crowd. An arena full of people who braved snow, sleet, slick highways, and long waits was brought to their feet so many times last night.
The Saint Louis University Chaifetz Arena was full of individuals who were seeking information and support for their view of our current political situation.

This man, dressed to resemble Abraham Lincoln, was a crowd favorite, especially when the cameras showed him on the gigantic live tv screens.

This lovely couple was in St. Louis for the Glenn Beck event and they live in Las Vegas!!!

Guess who I’m going to see tonight!!! Yep…that photo is a dead giveaway…my favorite tv personality will be the keynote speaker tonight and we’ve taken the weekend to see him along with Rick Santorum and Michelle Bachman!!! How much more fun could a couple of dyed-in-the-wool conservatives hope for…

Glenn Beck joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in 2008. He hosts "Glenn Beck," Monday through Friday from 5-6 p.m. ET. Beck's signature program breaks down and examines various stories and topics through the lens of his unique libertarian perspective.

Beck also hosts a nationally syndicated radio show ("The Glenn Beck Program") which is heard in over 300 cities and is one of the highest-rated national talk shows among adults ages 25 to 54. In 2008, Beck won the Marconi Radio Award for Network Syndicated Radio Personality of the Year.

Prior to joining FNC, he served as the host of "Glenn Beck," a talk show on CNN's Headline News which grew more than 200 percent in viewership in both the 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. timeslots during its tenure from 2006 to 2008. While at Headline News, Beck secured many interviews including Senator John McCain, Governor Sarah Palin, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Georgia President Mikheil Saakashvili and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.

His career began as a talk radio show host at WFLA-AM in Tampa, FL where he took his program to number one within his first year there. He was the youngest Top 40 morning show disc jockey in America at 18 years of age and moved on to become a top 40 disc jockey in major markets throughout the country, including Houston, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Phoenix and New Haven, CT.

Beck has written three New York Times best-sellers including "The Real America: Messages from the Heart and the Heartland," "An Inconvenient Book" and "The Christmas Sweater." He is also the founder and editor of the comedy magazine Fusion which is a "fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
