I was outside thawing water out for the birds and squirrels this morning and decided I would pick
some things I had in the yard for a Christmasy bouquet…I cut cedar from a tree line,
nandina berries and leaves and some varigated ivy
from the front porch. I also added some curly willow branches.
Michael bought me some pomegranates last week so I added them and got out some silver
pieces that I had polished this weekend.
I sat my silver coffee pot on a couple of recently painted mirrors and placed all of it on an old
sofa table that used to belong to my Mom (She would have
had a fit if she knew that I painted it white and distressed it).
Now I get to the fun part…lots of photos here of my little vignette…of course
I should have been getting ready for a dinner meeting for tonight but
geeezzzeee the sun was shining in the window!!!
What fun I’ve had with this…at least I didn’t post all of the photos!!!
Skip on over to Bobbypin's Boardwalk, Savvy Southern Style, Between Naps On The Porch and Tales From Bloggeritaville for some fun!!!
How lovely!...great looking silver too!

Your vignette is so gorgeous. It's a good thing Michael picked up those pomegranates as it sure completed the tray. Oh how beautiful.
I have to tell you sweetie. I think your Momma wouldn't mind that you distressed that piece of furniture. I think she would be thrilled that you display it SO proudly. I love it. It seems as though the older my parents get, they don't worry about the little things any more. I know she would be proud of you sweetie. It is beautiful.

Absolutely gorgeous. This is so elegant and clean and how fun that you cut the items from your yard. Of course my favorite photo is of the pomegranate on the mirror. The red against the textured white is just lovely. I adore what you did with the table. It is just gorgeous for a winter white setting. Happy Tablescapes Thursday. Thanks for sharing.
