It's sad isn't it Becky???? I hate to see the colors of Fall --and the end of our summer flowers to leave us.... Now--we'll have to baton down the hatches and 'enjoy' winter!!!!!! My blog ends tomorrow with the question "When is Spring?" ha ha
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy
I love especially the picture of the rose in your mosaic. We can have a little bit a rest and await joyful next spring. I like also always your first photo of your blog.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers and ferns are beautifully and creatively presented, even if it is sad our colorful seasons have come to an end for the year. We've had a lovely fall, but snow is predicted for tomorrow. Sigh!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers! So nice that you still have some color left. Most everything is done this far North.
ReplyDeleteLove the last two photos! What techniques did you use to get that effect?

Love the textures on your photos.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. We've had such a hot summer, my flowers didn't flourish either. But it is sad to see the last few blooms lingering on.
ReplyDeleteSad to see an end to the garden, but how beautiful everything remains... a treasure for a little longer. Beautiful images.
ReplyDeleteWe still have a few roses hanging on in spite of three nights of temperatures in the 20s! But I know all good things must come to an end and probably soon will.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers...I love spring and I love fall...summers just too hot for me...
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for commenting on my blog.
I appreciate you.

Such a beautiful rose, and so beautifully presented! Thanks for sharing the last of your summer blooms at MM. :)
ReplyDeleteI love fall, but I also feel sad when the beautiful flowers .. are no longer beautiful.... but ... there's always spring time..... YEA!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour final flowers are beautiful!
Hugs,
I love your photo effects.

ReplyDeletelet us breathe the crisp air...
let us linger for a moment....
let us say a tiny prayer...
Many hugs to you...loved your imagery :) your new lens is serving you well !
Great photo of the signage on top of the barn. I remember back in the day when it was a common sight, but a lot of those old barns are long gone.
ReplyDeleteHappy Veterans' Day!
