I just found this photo in my files….I worked on the “bokeh”…
…added “color pop” in Picasa…
…added “Gaussian Blur” to the “color pop”…
“emboss”…pretty sure I don’t like this one…although it would be a good pattern for painting…
“Sepia Tone”…not bad…
“black and white”…I like the top bokeh…
…back to the original….I think???
You must be playing around with your PhotoShop, sugar! I've been doing that a lot lately also. You did well though.

addictive little hobby huh?
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a fun hour though!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having a fun time learning! That is not wasted time. :-)
ReplyDeleteI have been doing that but never came up with anything I liked. Guess I will try again. You are never wasting time when your brain is active and observing. I am working on warding off alzheimer's myself and they say that is the way to do it.

I hope to have more fun with foto's in picnik and flickr...your foto's are great!
Isn't it fun to play around with pictures, Becky??? BUT--when push comes to shove, I usually end up with the original--or something very close to it.

Betsy
I'm glad you shared all the variations of your photo. I found all of them to be fascinating, so I don't think I would call this an hour wasted.
ReplyDeleteisn't life glorious? i mean...that we can be given the blessing of play...ALWAYS :)!!
ReplyDeleteLOL. Oh, Becky you may think you've wasted an hour - but look at all the pretties! You're such a good photographer!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!
Be a sweetie,

Ah hour??? For me it sometimes becomes HOURS ... seriously! I do love to experiment creatively and enjoyed seeing all your results. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
I 'waste' quite a few hours myself, some days! ;) Not really complete waste of time, though is it? Even from the results we reject, we have learned something... Thanks for following my Picture Book blog!
ReplyDeleteI, too, like to try out different filters on my photos. I use Photoshop Elements and like especially the dry brush (artistic) filter which makes a photo look like a painting.
