Some year end and New Year highlights…

image

We were all so happy to see the end of 2009 and welcome in the new year of 2010 that attending a New Year’s Eve Party just seemed like the “right” thing to do…so we “did” and had a wonderful time (except for the champagne toast, it wasn’t so good"). Next year we’ll have to procure some good champagne for our toast to the new year.

The first day of 2010 found us reuniting with old friends and classmates for an early lunch and reunion planning session. Regardless of the photos, we really did some hard work and finalized some important details for our 2010 High School reunion.

Just a couple of shots of the white squirrels from our back yard this fall…the bottom shot looks like he has pink eyes but they really don’t…

  1. Always love visiting Thoughtfully Blended Hearts to see what all you've posted. Becky, you & Jackie are very special people and that shows through your friendship. I'm so glad those of us from the class of '70 have reunited so we can share our lives together in so many different ways. You & Mike and Jackie & Lou are such a joy to be around. Thanks so much for your kindness and hospitality. And, I almost forgot to mention...I live for the conversations; they are quite lively and give us something to laugh about on days that might have been otherwise gloomy. Luv u, Linda (Johnson) Wilson

Reunion...??? Oh goodness, you do have a lot of work, to be sure...The behind the scenes planning is unbelievable! But it looks like with all that partying going on...the time will fly by. That's great fun, I bet!

And ah yes, the FAMOUS squirrels...lol, they always bring smiles!

  10. Bad champagne, oh no. That is terrible. I think you legally get a do-over when the champagne is bad. Check into that.
I saw on TV last night that a teacher in Washington State had told his grade 3 class 20 years ago that he would be waiting for them outside the school in 2010 for a class reunion. Almost all of them showed up. It was really sweet.

  13. Thank you Becky for taking the time to stop by and also for the remedy! I'll sure try anything to avoid a migraine. I've taken meds from Drs. but they don't even touch them and once it's already started, hard to get rid of. I love your header with Zoe!
