Friday the Thirteenth…of November

For Tootsie’s Fertilizer Friday I had to run outside and snap a few photos a few minutes ago, better late than never!!!

Who couldn’t love this lovely strawberry that I’ve been saving for today…

One survivor of a rose…

One fluffy little flower that is needing a bath and a trim, Zoe is a Morkie…
image
A couple more strawberries…remember this is Northwest Tennessee!!!
image
Just a few blooms are still surviving…
image
A few more blooms that I enhanced with Picasa…
image
A few Mandevilla blooms, I think the Black-eyed Susan vines have helped to protect them…
image
The surviving Beautyberry berries…

This little Hydrangea is struggling to be pretty…

Not a single leaf left on my Fig tree…

Nandina and Blackeyed Susan entwined…

  1. Beautiful photos! I love your furry little baby! It's amazing you still have strawberries. How do they taste?

  3. Hi Becky, It's hard to believe that you still have strawberries on the 13th of November. AND--so many flowers are still blooming. How special is that!!!! Wonder what these same pictures will look like if they were taken on Dec. 13????

    Have a great weekend.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  4. Strawberries and roses -- it sure doesn't seem like November, does it?

  5. Oh Becky, you still have some color in your garden! I am so jealous; we had a HARD frost a week ago, and that was the death of just about everything here -- my few remaining grapes are now raisins on the vine, and all the annuals are gone.

I also want to say how beautiful and moving your Vet's Day post was ... lovely. How wonderful you met just exactly the person you were supposed to be with!

  6. What clear and wonderful photos. The colors are so bright. You may not think you have much left but there is still plenty of color at your house. we have mostly turned to brown everywhere. Enjoy it while you still have it. It will be a long winter.
