Meet Gail…a Washington friend…

The word “Livewire”…it is a perfect word for Miss Gail…talented film director and a million other things. I got the privilege of going the the 9-12 Freedom March with her. She lives across the street from Francie ( my hostess).

I wish that I would have had time to photograph her beautiful home…

See her sign, she had people sign it all day long…when we got home it was completely filled with signatures with Americans and signatures from people of other countries…the craziest thing that happened to us was when we went to McDonalds in one of the Smithsonian Museums…The McDonalds guard told her she couldn’t come in the restaurant with her protest sign…duh…It said I Love America…what kind of a protest was that??? She asked the guard to sign it. He made her fold it in half and put it under her sweater!!!!  You know, I learned some new phrases this weekend…WTF!!!  Ok, now I’ll settle down, but  you know how us “angry mobbers” are…

Love ya Gail…it was an historical day that I enjoyed with your company!!!!

This is Freedom Plaza…where the march started…this was about 8 a.m. The people in the bright yellowish shirts were volunteers who helped coordinate the event.

I was given a t-shirt by a group…don’t know who, but this young man and his grandmother talked to me about it…I f you see this and know what the phrase means, please tell me.  I forgot what I was told about it…

This beautiful lady was so proud of her grandson!!! I was too!!!

The first indication of the feelings of the crowd sort of stunned me…I was in for an education…and a historical day in the life of our country…

image

Sorry for the profanity…but this was raw and so real…and the nicest crowd of human beings I’ve ever been in…No, I’ve never been close to a crowd of two million plus…I’m  still not believing it….

  3. You are saying that someone who called another female the "C" word is nice? That statement says a lot about you Becky.
