How stunning!...love the red door, as well as the other jolts of red....
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful mosaics, Becky. I love the colors. I'm gone over any photo with a church in it anyway!
ReplyDeleteKathy
Beautiful Becky. You surely do take great pictures. The colors are so vivid and amazing... Bet that little red door on that church belongs to an Episcopal Church. They usually always seem to have red doors.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteThe colors of fall are just so stinkin' gorgeous, aren't they?

Very nice photo combination! I love the colors that you put together! But most of all, I love the words in the mosaic. This is only my second Mosaic Monday and already I have learned so much! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou have the same name as my mom and my first-born niece, it's honey to my mouth ~Becky!
Could never miss those doors:) Lovely mosaic and I also laughed at the dog parade photos which were so cute and colorful. I bet the people had fun but not sure the dogs were so happy wearing clothing on a warm day:)

ReplyDeleteRe: Laughlin ~ My trips into Laughlin are usually just to get away from the busy-ness of Las Vegas, so my goal is to relax down by the river and enjoy the cool, clear water. Then when I'm finished relaxing, I'll drive on over to Bullhead City, AZ and explore a little. I like to browse the antique shops. Mellow time for me.
As far as things to do in Laughlin from the perspective of a tourist, here is what I have researched for you. Of course, the number one reason people go to Laughlin is for the gambling and casino shows. In addition to gambling and shows here is a list of other things to do.
Colorado River Museum; Hirstorical River Walk; Water Taxis from Casino to Casino; River Boat Ride; Jet Boat Tour that takes you into Lake Havasu, AZ to see the London Bridge; A Ghostly tour that takes you into Oatman, AZ to see the town and hear haunted tales; Davis Dam; American Heroes Museum; Outlet Mall and shops;
My favorite thing is to just drive around and look at all the buildings and what makes up the town.
Laughlin is really small. Bullhead City, AZ is a small town too but if you tire of the casinos you can go into Bulllhead City and explore.
Anyway, I hope you have a good time. I'd love to know what you ended up doing and if you enjoyed yourself there.
Smiles :)
I just love the red church door! Great mosaics. Thanks for visiting my blog and participating in the Pay if Forward post.
