Update…I missed the Rooster Party so now I’m trying for Tablescape Thursday…
Please visit Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for some real tablescapes!!!
Barb at http://barbsgoodlife.blogspot.com/ is having a Rooster Party…so I’m scratching up a post….
Roosters are colorful barnyard fowl…with distinct personalities…
These two rule the roost at Thoughtfully Blended Hearts…
Their cohorts are providing colorful placemats…(actually dish towels that can be used as placemats or napkins)
Amber stemware…(maybe its golden)…
Red chargers, flower and cream plates, golden salad plates and little chicken bowls…
Green tole tray…
Rooster salt and pepper shakers…
Gold salad plate is a vintage Fiesta piece…
Jewel tea plates…
Gold pressed glass stemware and thrifted silver….
Thrifted silver…the center spoon is monogrammed…
It’s the hens that keep the world spinning… :-)

ReplyDeleteJust realized you had left a comment on my blog. Your pictures are amazing. Is it your camera or the technique you use to post them? Even my 4x6 come out so small when I upload them from my computer. I am new to blogging also, but love it. I have learned a lot from following the more experienced. Visit again.

ReplyDeleteYour lunch post was so cute, what fun!
I really loved your rooster post. Your two ruling roosters were beautiful as were the real ones. Loved you table setting. The colors were great. Your red wall looks so familiar to me! I know there are thousands of red paints out there but I'm curious...does it happen to be Sherwin Williams - Fireweed? Your photos look so close in color to mine!
Have a great week.
