Squirrels Gone Wild or Going Squirrly

Hopefully, I am among friends here in blogland because I’m about to post more pictures of our white squirrels…I’m sure all of you may be tired of these little fellas but I’m still madly in love with them…honestly I’ve lived here for twenty years and I still get excited any time I see them…and that’s everytime I go into my backyard…

  3. White squirrels? I've never seen white ones before either. Very cool.

Actually, here in Israel we don't have squirrels at all. My kids are enchanted by them every time we visit the States.

  10. I've never seen a white one! I remember being in Washington D.C. on a school trip in High School, there are black ones there. We were so astonished - black squirrels! - with tufts on their ears! Who knew???
I am awarding you a "lovely blog" award.
Please stop by and claim it.
    Thanks!

  12. Since I am a first-time visitor to your blog, I've never seen your white squirrels before. I would be awed by having them in my yard, too. Around here, we just have the ordinary gray variety, but my mother has some black ones in her neighborhood.

  18. We have lost a lot of red squirrels here, due to the grey ones coming into the county...
The grey ones killed the red ones......
I don't know if we have any reds left.
I have never seen white ones either.

  22. Becky... squirrels gone wild? LOL! That's priceless. And you can never post enough squirrel pictures for me. They are darling! Do not apologize. I love seeing them, and I'm fascinated with the white ones. Looks like that grey boy is after a girlfriend. I wonder if the white ones speak French? They look like pretty French girls... kind of poodlish. ;-)

Loved seeing this and Happy Outdoor Wednesday to you!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  29. How cute! I haven't seen white squirrels before, but in one of our old NYC neighborhoods, we had black squirrels. Yes, coal black. And yes, they really were squirrels!

Fordham University in NYC claims to be the only place with black squirrels, but the animals themselves have migrated to other parts of the city!

Looks like your little guys are having a blast. Here, I watch chipmunks that live in our old stone walls.
