Vintage Thingy Thursday

ColoradoLady is hosting Vintage Thingy Thursday…so I thought I would take the chance to visit her and participate.

My contribution to her “thingy” party is a pretty glass “thingy” that my husband bought for me several years ago.

It is a Fenton Silver Crest Perch Rose Bowl…(Janet just told me it is a

"peach crest" by Fenton. The decorations are 'Charleston Roses'... Thanks Janet for the info.)

I love the painting of the flowers and the sparkle of the “ruffledy” (I’m sure there is a more technical name for this, I just don’t know it") top of the glass bowl.

  2. Fenton items are generally quite lacy and feminine looking... very nice.

  3. How absolutely beautiful...and I also love the "ruffedy". (I don't know what it's called either), but I sure love it's dainty shape and colors. Happy VTT and have a lovely week.

  5. that is a decorated "peach crest" by Fenton. The decorations are 'Charleston Roses'. It is worth 60-70 dollars in my Fenton Book. I think it's called a double crimped edge. I love Fenton, you have a beautiful piece.
