I snapped this photo last week as our local National Guard

was deploying to Kuwait for a year of duty.

This young lad tugged at my heartstrings as he held his Dad in a deathgrip.

I posted it on Facebook for all the participants to view and was contacted by

his Mom. Her identification of their son made it even more special.

I love the look on this little girl’s face . . . she was looking at Santa Claus!

Deer Derrieres, Etc.

 

This may be the oddest post in blogger history!

Yes, these two photos are Deer “Derrieres” or at least they were. . .

I talked to a great couple who had a taxidermy business Friday . . .

No, they did not “kill” these animals, he preserves dead animals. . .

 

I think I appreciate a “twisted” sense of humor ! ! !

 

because these stopped me in my tracks and I just had to find out

if they were what I thought they were . . . yep . . . that is what they were

the county fair Friday night. . .

TN. State Rep. Andy Holt joined us for a couple

Tn. State Representative Bill Sanderson was there to

visit with everyone !   !   !

Discovery Park of America . . . a world class museum is being

constructed right here in our little town ! ! !

 

We gave away an American Flag and a Tennessee Flag every night ! ! !

 

 

 

 

This little fella got really unhappy when the tractor pull started . . .

it was right beside us but he was happy again in just a minute . . .

A Year . . . 365 Days . . . 12 Months

 

 

Dads . . . gone for a year . . .

Three Munchkins

I spent the afternoon yesterday photographing this family . . .

it was fun and challenging . . .

One young man had a meltdown and the baby had a tummy ache . . .

The weather was perfect . . . finally!!!

I think we got some pretty neat shots !!!

 

We even giggled a lot ! ! !
