Who knew weeds could look so good???
Weeds...with and without a texture...
Texture used is “Cracked Up To Be” and I think it is from Shadowhouse Creations...or Kim Klassen
If the weather doesn’t clear up and get warm...
there is no telling what I’ll photograph next...
Dust bunnies maybe???
Visit Mary for Mosaic Monday...Little Red House
I had to bring my flowering cherry blossoms inside today...
Just to get a shot of some...
The wind is blowing...
The sun is behind the clouds...
It’s cold...
This texture is from ShadowHouse Creations...
I applied it with Picasa...
Texture Twist is at “Life In Reflection”
The beautiful pinks look a little purple...
that happens when you have to turn on the ceiling light...
...and my PhotoShop Elements program crashed...
...and it won’t install from the cd again...
It is a good thing I like Picasa...
The blossoms are pretty and delicate...
and I’m grouchy...
...like a toddler because I can’t go outside...
I took two big houseplants outside a few days ago...
I have to bring them in today...ugh!!!
It is supposed to freeze tonight...
Crazy lighting!!!
...or a crazy camera setting...
I’m sure it’s not a crazy photographer lady

Man’s Best Friend!!!
A Mom’s Best “Buddy”...Buddy is this dog’s name...
This photo doesn’t do justice to this gray Pom...it was gorgeous!!!
All of the above dogs had loving families and homes...
The reason I was there was to get photos of the following dogs...
The ones who don’t have homes...
This little beauty was on her way to a foster home...she needs a forever home...
This little guy was another sweetie...he liked Michael!!!
After a good belly rub...he was just wanting more attention...
Look at his “wild” whiskers...they were white and so cute!!!
He just needs someone to love!!!
...and last but not the least is the following beauty...
This handsome boy had just had surgery yesterday so we photographed him in
his kennel...but he was already wanting out... a real beauty who needs a forever
family...
Sharing with Mary @ Little Red House for Mosaic Monday
I had a wonderful afternoon here in our little town...Our Governor—Gov. Bill Haslam and many other Tennessee officials came here to announce a multi-million project that had literally just been funded!!! The federal funding had just been announced two hours prior to our meeting...That means JOBS to our little corner of the world...and boy do we need them...
Our largest employer (Goodyear) has just announced plans to leave this year (overseas). That leaves almost two thousand employees jobless!!! The project announced today has been “in the works” for over a decade!!! It is called Cates Landing and is a riverport in a neighboring county.
Lots of hard work and lots of prayer works!!!
Now to the fun stuff...There was a lot of professional press at this meeting!!! I asked and was granted the privilege to get these photos of Gov. Haslam and his lovely wife, Crissy... They were exceptionally nice to me and even asked another photographer to get a photo of me with them.

This is truly a “Southern Lady”...
it is a pleasure to have you living in Nashville and representing our state Crissy!!!
