Thanks to Marriott I Spent The Past Weekend At A Bed and Breakfast!!!

 

My trip this past weekend was so much fun, contributing to this great trip was the lovely bed and breakfast we stayed in. It was a beautiful three story century old brick home with a carriage house… Marriott called me last week and told me that the rooms that I booked in January for this past weekend were not available…what to do??? Marriott told me that they would send me to Elizabethtown, Ky. instead of Louisville, Ky……mmmmm I didn’t want to stay that far from my destination.

THANKS MARRIOTT BUT I WILL NOT BE USING

YOUR SERVICES EVER AGAIN!!!

(PS—The manager from the Louisville Marriott contacted me today and apologized for the problem and gave me enough points on my Marriott rewards card for a free night…I will probably use it too. 4-22-10)

This is Mr. John, one of the three owners of this beautiful home. Mr. John met us with smiles and hugs as we arrived at his front door. We were a couple of disheveled ladies who had never been in Louisville, Ky. and managed to navigate our way to his home thanks to my Droid…navigation with Google maps is much better than my old GPS was. What do you think of this entry way, Isn’t it beautiful???

That baby grand and gorgeous fireplace was flanked by two of the most spectacular candelabra  I’ve ever seen!!!

Not that I was just a little impressed by their beauty…just saying…I got a few photos of them…

My cable internet is as slow as Southern Molasses and is preventing me from visiting all the blogs that I love…I’m sorry if I can’t respond to your  comments, it just isn’t possible until my internet gets a little peppier…I’ve never had this problem before and don’t know what’s going on…

I’ll play some catchup as soon as I possibly can…I’ll be away for several days at the end of the week. Maybe that’ll give it time to “heal”… Headed to Kentucky for the Women of Joy Conference…
