A good chance…

This post is here in its entirety!!!
Support Scott Brown for Senate,
Even if You Don't Live in Massachusetts.

Scott Brown's race for Teddy Kennedy's Senate seat is our best hope of defeating the Obamacare takeover of the economy, without resorting to state nullification and/or a court battle regarding constitutionality. Electing him takes away the 60 vote supermajority enjoyed by the Democrats. They will only have 59 votes.
You don't live in Massachusetts? No problem. You can still contribute to his campaign. You can make phone calls for him. You can talk about him on Twitter (@ScottBrownMA) and on your blog.

THIS IS THE BATTLE WE NEED TO FIGHT TODAY. ALL OF YOU'ALL WHO TALK ABOUT FIGHTING, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE. SHOW ME WHAT YOU'VE GOT! The special election in January 19th. Today is January 6th. That gives us exactly 12 campaigning days to push this man to victory. Help, help, help!

You can do your part right now. Brown’s campaign site is here. His donation page is here. There’s a grass-roots “moneybomb” fundraiser for Brown on January 11.

Fight the SEIU and Demcare corruption. Help do the job the national GOP fund-raising organizations won’t do. With two weeks until the special election date in Massachusetts, there isn’t a moment to waste.

Some year end and New Year highlights…

image

We were all so happy to see the end of 2009 and welcome in the new year of 2010 that attending a New Year’s Eve Party just seemed like the “right” thing to do…so we “did” and had a wonderful time (except for the champagne toast, it wasn’t so good"). Next year we’ll have to procure some good champagne for our toast to the new year.

image

The first day of 2010 found us reuniting with old friends and classmates for an early lunch and reunion planning session. Regardless of the photos, we really did some hard work and finalized some important details for our 2010 High School reunion.

Just a couple of shots of the white squirrels from our back yard this fall…the bottom shot looks like he has pink eyes but they really don’t…

Greg’s Favorite Dip

This is Greg, an OCCHS classmate of mine, who has been a great part of our reconnection of OCCHS classmates recently. We held a planning committee meeting yesterday and had a great time.

image

Greg, said he was having a “bad hair day”, but I think he was looking pretty good…Greg shared his favorite dip recipe with us…he uses equal parts of salsa and mayonnaise to make a dip for dipping palm hearts…sounds yummy!!!

image

Can’t you tell we had lots of “serious” decisions to be made!!!

image

OOpps..this was the “serious” photo of of the decision making process…of course serious planning requires sustenance…

Here’s Paula and Nancy getting the meal ready for us…and wow did we have a wonderful meal!!!

image

How could anyone not have fun in such a special home, Jackie and Lou always open their beautiful century old home for us. See that beautiful pork loin that Jackie cooked for us…it was wonderful and Paula even threatened to put the leftovers in her handbag to take home!!! Salads, creamed spinach, buffalo wing dip, blackeye pea salad that Lou made, cooked cabbage and cornbread, home made chocolate chip muffins made by James’s wife and lots of other scrumptious food made our New Years’ Day meeting so special.

This is Nancy, my childhood  bff, isn’t she gorgeous, and what a horsewoman!!!

image

Paula, Nancy and James…what a great bunch of friends!!!

image

Gregg and me with our backs to you, Linda (the brains), Paula, Nancy, Jackie (our hostess) and James working hard..while Michael and Lou took care of the dishes (gotta love two husbands who will do this)…
